In partnership with the Open Knowledge Foundation from the UK, and with financial assistance from the Delegation of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Public Interest Advocacy Center is currently implementing One Stop Access to Budget Data project. We believe that the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina are entitled to know how the public funds in BiH are being managed. Budget data should be available to each citizen at any given moment, to both demonstrate how the governments spend their money and show to the decision makers that they will be held accountable for their actions. In an attempt to initiate the broadest possible debate on the efficiency and priorities of the budget process, the Public Interest Advocacy Center will, with its local partners, organize presentations of the One Stop Access to Budget Database in 30 municipalities throughout BiH.
